Is the information that is seen in real time?
The instant a payroll is submitted, the information is available to all parties who have access to the system. Any non-compliance issues can be addressed immediately.
Is all the information concerning problems on the screens or are e-mails necessary to notify you that problems exist?
Is there a third party involved?
Can payroll errors be identified and modified before validating and signing?
Is there a secure internal (not using an email system) messaging system?
Do they satisfy sections 3.1 and 4.2 of the public works manual? Can they accommodate base rate exceptions for California payrolls?
Are deficiencies calculated automatically and prominently displayed?
Who inputs and maintains the wage determinations in the system?
Can eMars provide appropriate apprentice information?
When predetermined increases take place, do the rates change in the wage determination and the employee records?
Is there a charge for mapping payrolls, renewal fees, data entry, extra wage determinations or special reports?
How many fringes and deductions can be itemized?
